About: Having grown up in an Italian - English bilingual household, Diana has had to navigate between two languages and cultures for as long as she can remember. Later on, her passion for languages brought her to learn Spanish while living for nearly 2 years in Chile, South America. There as an undergraduate, she had the opportunity to study human rights coursework at the graduate level in Spanish with University of Chile Law Professor Cecilia Medina, judge of the Interamerican Court of Human Rights. Her love of Brazilian music has also led her to study the Portuguese language and music, travel several times to Brazil, and perform in several music ensembles in the Bay Area.
